![]() ![]() If the file is "in the cloud" it will automatically download and open. I can open all files, including AutoCAD files, directly from windows explorer. That means that they are available at any moment, but they must first be downloaded and that is my problem. Normally the files "in the cloud" are shown in windows explorer with a cloud symbol next to them. The problem that I was facing occurred only with files that were on onedrive that were not downloaded to my laptop. Not just AutoCAD files, but all files saved into onedrive. ![]() that means that I can open all files in onedrive using my windows explorer once I sign in to onedrive. I have onedrive installed in my laptop (this is how I have worked on work files for at least a couple of years). I finally figured out what was happening. All the files I had problems with opened without any problems in at least 3 other computers. I have done many tests by trying to open the same files in other computers. When I opened the X-ref Manager to resolve the x-ref issues, the file would freeze and I would have to Ctrl+Alt+Del out of the program. Then there were other CAD files that I was able to open just fine, but the x-refs did not work. I would open some CAD files and started to get the message "File not Valid". I started to have problems opening AutoCAD files. Recently it started to do something really strange. My laptop has been working well for a 2.5 years. ![]()
